Ingredients: 1-Chocolate Cake mix
2 Pkg. Instant Chocolate Pudding (I use sugar free) 4 cups Milk (I use skim)
Large container of cool whip defrosted

Directions: |
Directions:Bake cake mix according to pkg directions and allow to cool. AFTER cake has cooled poke holes all over the top using a wooden spoon handle. Mix up the instant pudding according to directions and immediately pour evenly pour over the cooled cake. Do this before the pudding thickens up! Refrigerate until ready to serve. When ready to serve "ice" the cake using the Cool Whip. Easy and delicious. |

Notes: There are so many variations on this recipe! Switch up the cake flavor and pudding flavors. Try yellow cake with banana pudding, or white cake with lemon pudding. Garnish with chocolate syrup, chocolate chips, toffee bits, or sprinkles. Try using vanilla pudding in white cake and sprinkle with coconut or even toasted coconut! It is truly versatile!
I made this cake for Derek and Andrew's birthdays for many years. Not only is it easy but it is really delicious. When I am dieting I make everything sugar free except for the cake and save bunches of calories yet feel as though I have cheated!
Little children love "helping" make this cake and they are so proud of having helped!
