2 lb. bulk sausage
2 (2½ oz.) pkg. chicken noodle soup mix
4½ c. boiling water
¾ c. chopped onion
2½ c. coarsely chopped celery
1 c. chopped green pepper
1 c. raw rice
¼ c. melted margarine
1 c. slivered almonds (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Brown sausage in large skillet; pour off excess fat. Add green pepper, onion and 1 c. celery; sauté. Combine soup mix with boiling water, then add rice and simmer 20 minutes. Add rice and soup mixture to the sausage . Place into a 9" x 13” baking dish; sprinkle with 1½ cups celery and almonds. Drizzle melted butter over the casserole. Bake at 325° for 20-30 minutes.
