Olive oil
Fresh garlic, crushed
2 parts chopped beef
1 part chopped pork
3-4 medium onions, chopped
1/2 c. celery, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped

1 large can of whole tomatoes (30-35 oz)
chili powder, to taste
garlic powder, to taste
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 - 1/2 c. sugar, to taste
1/2 c. vinegar (or enough to taste)
5-6 cans dark kidney beans
sliced kielbasa
mushrooms, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onions, pepper and celery in olive oil and butter. In a separate pan brown beef and pork; sprinkle with some fresh crushed garlic.

Combine meat and vegetables in a large pot. Add chili powder, totatoes spices, sugar, vinegar, kidney beans, kielbasa and mushrooms. Mix thoroughly. Add additional spices to taste.

Simmer on low for about an hour. Serve hot with grated cheddar cheese and a dollop of sour cream

Go easy on sugar, vinegar and spices. Add to taste.
