1 cup water
1 cup sugar
3 cups fresh cranberries (one pkg.)
1 (8 or 10 oz.) bag unsweetened frozen strawberries
1 (14 oz.) can mandarin oranges

Directions:
Directions:
Cook first 3 ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat, until cranberries pop. Add frozen strawberries and cook a few more minutes, until the strawberries are soft. When cool, add the mandarin oranges.

This recipe is from my Aunt Cookie Harris, who passed away a couple of years ago. I always love making this cranberry sauce at Thanksgiving and then wonder why I donít make it all year round. It is great on turkey or as a side dish all by itself. Fresh cranberries can be frozen in their bag at Thanksgiving time and used any time right from the freezer.
