1 head lettuce
1 bunch green onions
4-6 stalks celery
1 lb. bacon
1 pint real mayonnaise
1 box frozen green peas
1-2 c. grated cheddar or longhorn cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Fry bacon crisp and crumble.

Chop lettuce, onions, and celery. Put the lettuce in a large bowl. Put a layer of green onions on top of the lettuce and then a layer of celery over the onions. The amounts listed above are optional, depending on our personal taste.

Place a layer of thawed, not cooked, green peas over the celery, then spread mayonnaise over the peas.

Spread bacon over the mayonnaise and then top the whole thing with the grated cheese.

Cover and allow to set overnight. When serving, be sure you get one of each layer.
