1 c. shortening
1 egg
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp molasses
2 c. flour
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, sugar, molasses together. Stir in egg. Add ginger, cinnamon, soda, flour and mix together. Roll dough in ball about the size of small walnut. Spray cookie sheet lightly with cooking spray. Roll in sugar and put on pan. They will spread out. Bake 350

I've had this recipe for so long, I can't remember who Skip is! These are so tasty, great for the cookie jar.
