3 c. fresh strawberries, hutted and quartered
1 1/4 c. vegetable oil
4 eggs
3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
3 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium sized bowl mix eggs and oil. Add strawberries and mix well.

In a large bowl sift dry ingredients together and add walnuts, mix well.

Stir strawberry mixture into dry ingredients and mix well.

Pour batter into well greased and floured loaf pans. (3 small or 2 large)
Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

This is a wonderful moist bread with fresh strawberries. The recipe comes from my long time neighbor Ellie Benoit.
