1 (4 pound) fully cooked canned ham
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
8 oz. can pineapple slices; undrained
Green grapes
Fresh watercress

Directions:
Directions:
Place ham in a lightly greased 12x8x2 inch baking dish; sprinkle evenly with brown sugar. Drain pineapple, reserving 3 T. juice. Arrange pineapple slices over sugar; sprinkle with reserved pineapple juice. Bake at 300 degree for 1 hour and 45 minutes or until a meat thermometer reaches 130-140 degrees. Transfer to a serving platter, and garnish with grapes and watercress. Yield: 16 servings.

Mother was visiting her granddaughter, Deborah Lowery, in Birmingham six weeks after daddy's death. At Deborah's request, Mother took her wooden box of recipes which was burned in Deborah's house fire. Mother was putting this ham in the oven when she heard the fire alarm.
