1 1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. unsifted flour
2 c. fresh rhubarb, cut up
2 c. strawberries, cut in half
1 T. butter or margarine
Small amount of milk
Small amount of sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, combine 1 1/3 c. sugar and 1/3 c. flour. Add rhubarb and strawberries, tossing lightly to combine. Let stand for 30 minutes. Line a large pie pan with pastry. Turn fruit mixture into pastry-lined pan, mounding in the center. Dot with butter. Arrange pastry on top and brush with milk and sprinkle with sugar. Bake in a 400 degree oven about 50 minutes or until crust is golden brown, or until juice starts to show. Cool on wire rack. Serve warm with ice cream if desired.
