3 cups chicken broth
⅓ cup uncooked wild rice
2 bunches green onion, sliced
3 carrots, shredded
1 cup rice, soy or almond milk
2 T. gluten-free flour (I use a pre-blended, all purpose store-bought gluten-free flour)
parsley or chives for garnish, optional

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium sauce pan combine broth and rice. Bring to boiling. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 45 to 50 minutes or until tender. Stir in onions and carrot during last 5 minutes of cooking. Combine milk and flour. Stir into rice mixture. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 1 minute more. Garnish with parsley or chives, if desired.
