1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 cup creamed shortening
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/2 cups crushed pineapple, drained
4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Cream sugars and shortening. Add eggs and beat well. Add remaining ingredients. Drop onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.Makes 5 dozen
