5 pounds fryer chicken, cut up
56 oz. ketchup
1 pound brown sugar
6 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
4 tbsp. liquid smoke
1/2 cup butter
2 onions, sliced
garlic powder to taste
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Combine all ingredients except chicken and onion in a large saucepan and simmer for 20 minutes.

Place some sauce on bottom of roaster. Layer chicken, sliced onion rings, and sauce. Repeat this two more times with sauce being on top.

Bake 1/2 hour at 350º then lower oven to 325º and bake 1-1/2 hours to 2 hours longer or until chicken is done.
