15 small new potatoes, washed
1 pound frozen or canned peas
4 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons flour
Enough milk to make a smooth sauce
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cook potatoes (with skins) and peas in water for 15 minutes or until, cooked but not mushy, in a pan over medium heat. Drain water. Pour potatoes and peas in dish, cover with cream sauce. Serve hot. Salt and pepper to taste. Melt butter over medium heat. Mix in flour to form paste with a wire whip. Add milk and heat slowly until white sauce of desired consistency is formed. Sauce thickens as it cooks. Do not add milk too quickly.

Alternate procedure:
Mix butter, flour and milk in blender before cooking. It will tend to make a smoother sauce.
