Notes: This was one of Grandpa Michael Ready's favorite pies. It is delicious the tarter the better. Mom would make this for Dad quite a bit as he had a sweet tooth and loved his desserts. She had a knack for making pie dough. Her mother-in-law taught her how to make the best pies. She could flute the edges and make them look perfect and beautiful.
