Ingredients:  
4 cups flour
1/2 cup shortening
4 tsp. cream of tartar
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix above dry ingredients. Add enough milk to make a soft dough. Roll out on floured board about1' thickness, cut with biscuit cutter & bake on cookie sheet 15 min. at 400º. Great for shortcake.
