1 cup cooking oil
2/3 cup water
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tsp worchestershire sauce
few drops bottled hot pepper sauce
1 tbsp lemon pepper
2 to 2 1/2 pound beef flank steak
mushroom crowns (whole)
Directions:
Directions:
Combine oil, water, soy sauce, worchestershire sauce, hot pepper sauce, and lemon pepper. Pound flank steak with meat mallet until about 1/4 inch thick. Cut in 8 to 10 two-inch strips. Place strips in shallow dish and pour pepper marinade over the meat. Refrigerate several hours, turning occasionally. Drain, reserving marinade.
Loosely roll each strip around mushroom crown and skewer individually, making 8 to 10 pinwheels. Grill pinwheels over medium coals, turning once, for 20 to 25 minutes for rare doneness, basting with marinade frequently.
