1 box yellow cake mix
3/4 cup cooking oil
3/4 cup apricot nectar
2 tsp lemon extract
1 pkg lemon jello
4 eggs separated
1 1/2 tsp lemon peel
Icing
1 cup powdered sugar
juice and grated rind of one lemon - Mix well

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first five ingredients. Beat 2 min - add egg yokes - beat again. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into a greased tube pan. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325º. Pour icing over cake while still in pan when taken from oven. Let cake cool well before removing from pan.
