6 center-cut pork chops, cut 3/4 to 1-inch thick
8 oz. tomato sauce with mushrooms
1 small green pepper, cut into strips
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
8 oz. mozzarella cheese, cut into 6 slices

Directions:
Directions:
Trim fat from pork chops; rub fat over inside bottom of a 12-inch skillet. Discard fat. Brown pork chops in greased skillet. Add tomato sauce, pepper slices, & oregano. Reduce heat to low, cover pan & simmer 45 minutes until meat is fork-tender. During last 5 minutes of cooking, top each pork chop with a slice of cheese.
