2 T. shortening
2 chopped onions
1/2 c. bell pepper chopped
1 lb. ground beef
1 can tomatoes (#2 1/2 can)
1/2 c. uncooked rice
salt and pepper to taste
1T. chili powder

Directions:
Directions:
Brown beef, saute onions and peppers with browned beef; drain. Mix all other ingredients together and place in baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until rice is tender.
