1 stick butter or margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. milk
2 1/4 c. sifted confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in a large saucepan. Blend in brown sugar and salt. Cook over low heat 2 minutes stirring until it comes to a boil. Remove from stove. Add powdered sugar. Gradually add vanilla and mix well. Mix (with mixer) until right consistency to stay on cake Thin with small amount of cream if necessary.
