1 bunch leaf lettuce
1 c. shredded Swiss cheese or Parmesan cheese
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/2 c. almonds, sliced or slivered
1 red onion, sliced and separated into rings

DRESSING INGREDIENTS
1/2 c. salad oil
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. red wine vinegar
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Tear lettuce into bite-size pieces into large salad bowl. Add cheese, bacon, almonds and onion. Toss until mixed. Just before serving, drizzle with dressing and toss again.

For dressing, put all ingredients into a salad shaker or jar with tight fitting lid. With lid on tight, shake vigorously until thoroughly mixed.
