1/2 loaf day old French or Italian bread
6TBSP butter (optional)
2/3 pound grated cheddar cheese
1/3 pound grated Munster cheese
6 thin slices salami, chopped
8 eggs
1 3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup white wine
2large whole green onions, minced
2 tsp. Dusseldorf German mustard
1/8 tsp. Pepper
3/4 cup sour cream
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese

Directions:

Butter a 13 by 9 inch casserole dish. Spread bread that has been broken into pieces the bottom. Drizzle with optional butter. Sprinkle cheeses and salami over bread. Beat together eggs, milk, wine, onions,mustard, and pour over cheese and bread. Cover tightly with foil and refrigerate up to 24 hours. Bake at 325 degrees about an hour or until set. Uncover and spread with sour cream and Parmesan cheese Bake again until crust forms, about 10 minutes.
