1 C butter or margarine
1 C brown sugar
1 C white sugar
2 eggs
1/2 t. salt
1 t. baking powder
1 t. baking soda
1 t. vanilla
2 C flour
2 1/2 C oatmeal (blenderize to a fine powder)
optional - 1/2 regular sized Hershey Bar (grated)
1 12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 C chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter, brown sugar, white sugar and eggs. Stir in salt, baking powder, baking soda, vanilla, flour, blenderized oatmeal and Hershey Bar. Add chocolate chips and nuts. Make golf ball sized balls and place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 325º or 350º for 10 to 13 minutes. Check often--baking time depends on your oven. Do not overbake. You can make smaller cookies and adjust the baking time.
