1 packaged white cake mix (not yellow)
1 - 8 oz. container of sour cream
1 cup sugar
12 - 16 ozs. Cool Whip
2 pints strawberries, sliced

Bake white cake in two 8' or 9' layers, according to package directions and allow to cool completely.

While the cake is baking and cooling, prepare the frosting. Gently fold 8 ozs. sour cream with sugar (try not to over-mix). Fold 12-16 oz. Cool Whip into that mixture. Refrigerate until layers are cooled.

Slice 2 pints of strawberries. Cut the two cake layers into four. Frost each layer then, top with fresh strawberry slices. Top of cake should just be icing with a couple of "fanned" strawberries on top to decorate.
