3 eggs
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 c. (12 oz.) semi -sweet chocolate chips
Topping:
2 T. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Mix eggs, oil, and sugar together with wooden spoon. Add vanilla. Sift flour & baking powder together. Add to egg mixture & stir until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips. Dough will be sticky. Refrigerate dough for 15 minutes or longer. Divide dough into thirds. Shape into 3 logs and place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven & let cool 5 minutes. Loosen logs from pan and cut each into 3/4 inch diagonals.
Turn pieces on their sides and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar topping. Place back in oven & bake at 300º for an additional 10-15 minutes depending on how crispy you want them.

This recipe was given to me by a friend who is Italian (she calls it biscotti). I added the cinnamon sugar topping to it and I call it Mandel Bread. Either way...enjoy!!!!!
