3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 T. butter
2 T. lard or butter
1 c. sour milk or buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ingreds. together. Roll out on floured board. Cut biscuits. Brush with some milk. Bake at 475º for 12 mins.
You can add grated cheese for cheese biscuits. You can add 1/2 c. raisins, 1/2 c. nuts, chopped, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, and 1 T. br. sugar for sweet biscuits.
