Marinade flank Steak overnight in a store bought marinade.
1 Tbls butter
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
2 tsp roemary
3 garlic cloves, minced
Caramel Onions
3-4 large onions, sliced thin
2 Tbls butter
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1/2 c sugar
6 -8 Hoagy buns cut in half

Directions:

Cut beef into thin slices. In a skillet on the stove melt butter add the rest of the spices. Place meat in skillet for 5 min. Cover and set off the heat. Take out of pan and place on a cookie sheet may need to chop meat up smaller.
Onions
Same pan, melt butter and add onions. Cook with salt and pepper about 3-5 min. Add sugar simmer until caramelized.
Cut Hoagy buns in half. Place on a cookie sheet. Layer beef, onions and your favorite cheese. Bake until cheese is melted
