1 (large) can of cream of chicken soup
milk (enough for can of soup)
1 lb. mild sausage
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 can sliced potatoes, cut in half
fresh basil, optional

Directions:
Directions:
In a soup pot, pour cream of chicken soup and can of milk. Stir thoroughly until blended. Add potatoes. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, in a skillet, brown sausage and onion together, until sausage is cooked thoroughly. Add to soup pot, stirring. Heat until hot. Sprinkle fresh basil into each bowl.

I always double this recipe, as everyone in the family loves it. Very fast & easy! Had this soup at a quilting day/potluck in the Enterprise elementary library. The secretary made it, and told us how to make it. This is one of Drew's favorite dinners.
