2 deep dish pie crusts, prepared
2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
3 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. mace
4 eggs
1 28 oz. can pumpkin (not the pie mix kind)
3 c. scalded milk or 2 sm. cans evap. milk (about 24 oz.)

Directions:

Mix sugar, salt, cloves, cinnamon, ginger, mace, and nutmeg together. Add in eggs, pumpkin, and milk. Bake at 425º for 15 mins. Reduce heat to 350º and bake for 50 to 60 mins. When kitchen knife comes out clean, when stuck in middle of pie, then it is done. Makes 2 9" pies.
