3 oz. lime jello
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. boiling water
1 lb. can pear halves, drained & syrup reserved
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
6 oz. cream cheese
1/8 tsp. ground ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve Jello & salt in boiling water. Add lemon juice & 3/4 c. pear syrup (may add water if not enough syrup). Pour 1 1/4 cups into a Jello mold; chill until set, but not completely firm. Beat the cream cheese until creamy; gradually add the ginger & remaining Jello. Chill until very thick. Dice the pears & fold into cream cheese mixture. Spoon evenly over the Jello mold. Chill until firm.
