1 tsp. salt
1 lb. fettuccine pasta
1 T. Olive Oil
2-3 cloves of fresh chopped garlic
3 cups of heavy cream
1/2 stick of unsalted butter cut in small pieces
2 cups of shredded Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp. fresh chopped parsley
kosher salt to taste
black pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Bring 4 quarts of water to a boil. add 1 tsp salt. Add pasta. Cook as directed on package.
While pasta cooks saute the garlic in the olive oil over med heat till golden about 2 minutes.
Add cream to pan and stir occasionally for 4 minutes.
Add butter and stir till melted
Add cheese and allow 1 minute before stirring
Add parsley
salt and pepper to taste
