1/3 c. 7-9 grain cereal
3/4 c. water
1/3 c. butter/margarine
1 tsp. sugar or 1/2 tsp. barley malt
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. buttermilk
3 c. flour
2 1/4 tsp. yeast
Directions:
Directions:
Cook cereal in water with a dash of salt added. Cook till water is absorbed. Remove from heat & add butter/margarine. Stir until melted, then add next 3 ingredients. Pour into bread machine, add 3 cups flour. Add yeast & start bread machine. Add 1/3 c. warm water to machine.

If using dough cycle or mixing by hand. Bake 400º for 30 minutes in a greased bread pan.
