1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 cup shortening (Crisco)
2 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs (unbeaten)
2 cups oatmeal
2 cups coconut
2 T milk or half and half
1 pkg. Chocolate chips

Directions:

1. Cream sugars and shortening together.
2. Sift together flour, salt, soda, b powder.
3. Add flour mixture to cream mixture.
4. Add eggs, oatmeal, coconut, milk
5. Add chips.
6. Bake 350º about 12 minutes.
