Ingredients:  
1 can Crescent Rolls (from dairy)
4 fruits (apple or peach) cut into halves. Cores, pits and peel removed.

Press or roll out each Crescent roll until thin. (Irregular shape)
Lay fruit halve in center, flat side down.
Fold corners up over top (overlapping) and crimp together.
Place in a buttered 9x13 baking dish.
Spread butter over top.
Sprinkle lightly with Cinnamon (optional)

Heat together until dissolved:
1 1/2 cup Sugar
1 cup Water

Pour over Dumplings and bake in 350 oven 35 minutes or until nicely browned.
Each Dumpling makes one pretty serving. There is nothing more delicious---just like cobbler! Try it---you'll love it.
