3/4 Cup Shortening
1/4 Cup Molasses
2 tsp Soda
1/2 tsp Ground Cloves
1/2 tsp Salt
1 Cup sugar
1 Egg
2 Cups Flour
1 tsp Cinnamon
Directions:
Directions:
Melt shortening and cook. Add sugar, molasses and egg. Beat well. Sift dry ingredients and add to mixture. Mix well. Chill over night. Form into 1 inch balls and roll in sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake 350 for 8 - 10 minutes.
