1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, saute
1/4 lb. butter
1 med. onion, chopped
1/8 tsp. tabasco
1/4 c. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
2 cans French style green beans, drained
2 tsp. soy sauce
1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained
3/4 c. slivered almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Saute the onions and mushrooms in the butter. Mix all the ingreds. but 1/3 c. of the almonds which you use on the top. Bake in a large casserole dish at 375º for 20 mins.

This receipe does not have as much salt or fat as the recipes that use cans of soup and the can of French onion rings.
