6 cups cucumbers, thinly sliced
2 cup thinly sliced onion rings

1 1/2 cup vinegar
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tsp.. salt
1 teaspoon. mustard seed
1 tbsp. celery seed
1/2 teaspoons. ground tumeric
2 cup thinly sliced onion rings
6 cups cucumbers, thinly sliced

Directions:

In a glass or crockery bowl alternatively layer the sliced cucumber and onion. In a medium saucepan combine sugar, vinegar, salt, mustard seed, celery seed and ground tumeric. Bring to boiling. Stirring just till sugar is dissolved. Pour vinegar mixture on top cucumbers onion mixture. Cool silghtly, cover tightly; refrigerate pickkles at least 24 hrs before serving. Store up to one month in refrigerator.

These keep well in the refrigerator for a long time. Replace the onions and cucumbers as used, if desired.
