2 14oz cans sweetened condensed milk
1 12 oz can evaporated milk
6 Tbsp unsalted butter
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
pinch of salt

Directions:

Lightly grease a 9x9 square pan. Line the pan with a piece of parchment paper or foil, leaving about an inch overhang on all sides.
Combine the ingredients in saucepan and cook over med heat, stirring continuously with a wooden spoon, until the mixture has thickened and starts pulling away from the sides of the pan, 20-20min.
When ready, it will slide easily out of the pan when tilted. Pour into the prepared pan and allow to set, about 2 hours. Cut into 24 pieces.
VARITION: Chocolate
add 6 Tbsp of cocoa along with other ing.
VARIATION:Lime
replace vanilla with 1 tsp lime zest and 1 Tbsp fresh lime juice and few drops green food coloring once the mixture has been removed from heat. Add slowly and stir well so it doesn't separate.
VARIATION:Coffee
Add 2 tsp coffee extract along with other ing.
VARIATION: Coconut
Replace the evaporated milk with the same size of coconut milk.
VARIATION: Tequila
Add 1 Tbsp of tequila once the mixture has been removed from the heat, add slowly and mix well so it doesn't separate.
