1 lb. butter or margarine, divided
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 package white cake mix

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat over to 350ºF. In a small bowl, microwave 2 sticks of butter on high until melted. Slice remaining butter into 1/2 inch pieces; add to melted butter and let stand 3-5 minutes until soft.
Meanwhile, measure flour into a large bowl. Add cake mix to the flour and blend well. Whisk butter until smooth so it is creamy and pourable. Pour all the butter into the dry ingredients until the dough is smooth.
Shape, bake and decorate.

Because Jack is allergic to eggs I try and find easy and fun recipes that he can help me make. He loves these cookies, and his favorite part is decorating them. We've added M&Ms to them, and they are delicious!
