Ingredients:  
6 Lg granny smith apples ( peeled cored and chopped)
1/2 c sugar
2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cloves
Mix together and put in a 2 qt casserole dish
In a separate bowl mix
1/2 c flour
1/2 c sugar
1/8 tsp salt
Cut in the dry mixture
2 tbls butter, softened
Sprinkle this over the apple mixture
Top with
1/2 c chopped pecans

Bake at 350º for 1 - 1 1/2 hours until brown.

I like this as a side with ham or turkey for Thanksgiving or Christmas, but it is more like a dessert
