Combine and set aside:
8 oz cream cheese
1 beaten egg
1/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt

Sift together:
1 1/2 c. plain sugar
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Then add:
1 c. water
1/3 c. cooking oil
1 tsp. white vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Beat cream cheese, egg, sugar and salt in small mixing bowl until smooth. Stir in chocolate chips.
Set aside.

In large mixing bowl, sift together plain flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Then add water, cooking oil, vinegar and vanilla.

Beat well. Fill teacake size cupcake liners with 1 Tbsp. cocoa mixture first then 1 tsp. of cream cheese mixture on top of each cup. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
