1 egg
1 can fruit cocktail, with juice
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. brown sugar
coconut & nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg. Add fruit cocktail and vanilla and mix. Add flour, sugar, soda and salt. Pour into a greased 9x13" baking dish. Sprinkle brown sugar on top, then sprinkle the coconut and chopped nuts over the brown sugar. Bake at 325º for 1 hour.

There were certain ingredients that Grandma Daniels always had on hand in her pantry, and one of them was fruit cocktail. This is an easy, last minute cake to prepare. Serve it with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream!
