Sugar Cookies:
1 cup sugar
1/8 cup lard (shortening)
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup milk
2 tsp baking powder
1 or 2 eggs
put in last thing,
1/4 tsp lemon extract,
1/4 tsp salt
enough flour to make a dough to roll out

Molasses Cookies:
1 cup molasses bring to a boil,
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp cinnamon and ginger and a little salt
1 tbsp soda into molasses add flour to make a stiff batter.

Coconut cookies:
2 cups sugar,
1 cup butter,
5 cups flour
1 cup coconut
3 eggs
4 tbls milk
2 tsp baking powder

Cream Cookies:
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup sour cream
1 tbsp soda and salt
enough flour to make a stiff batter

Directions:
Directions:
When adding flour use a 1/2 cup at a time and beat keep adding flour until you have a stiff batter or dough.
Bake nicely but not too brown. 375º oven 7-10 minutes.
