1 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/4 c. flour
3/4 c. nuts, finely chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter, powdered sugar, vanilla and salt in a bowl. Add flour and nuts, mix well. Roll into small balls and place onto an ungreased baking sheet about 1 inch apart. Bake at 350º for 8-10 minutes. Do not brown. Let cool slightly and roll into powdered sugar, coating each cookie.

I like to roll the cookies in the powdered sugar twice. I usually double this recipe cause they are so popular and easy to pop into your mouth. These are John's favorite!
