1 c. butter, softened
2 c. brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 c. quick cooking oatmeal
1 (12 oz.) bag chocolate chips
1 c. sweetened condensed milk
2 T. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. walnuts, chopped
2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Cream together 1 cup of butter and the brown sugar in a bowl until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and 2 tsp. of vanilla. Mix together flour, baking soda, 1 tsp. salt and oatmeal. Add the oatmeal mixture to creamed mixture; mix well. Combine chocolate chips, condensed milk, 2 T. butter, 1/2 tsp. salt and melt together until mixed well. Add the nuts and 2 tsp. vanilla into the chocolate mixture. Spread 2/3 of the dough onto a greased jellyroll pan. Cover with fudge filling. Dot with remaining dough and swirl over filling with fork. Filling does not have to be completely covered. Bake in 350º oven for 25 minutes.
