Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3 cups sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1 stick butter
1/3 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup cream or evaporated milk
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar and cocoa until cocoa is broken up and smooth add remaining ingredients, except vanilla. Cook over med heat stirring constantly. Check periodically by dropping a few drops into a bowl of cold water until you can form a firm ball. Some people use thermometer and remove from heat at 250 degree, but this works best for me. Remove from heat and pour in buttered bowl or dish. Cool until you can put your hand comfortably on the sides of the bowl. Beat hand until fudge loses its gloss and changes consistency, add vanilla and add drops of cream if it gets to stiff. Spread in buttered pan and cut into squares. If you want nuts add them just before you put it in the pan
