1 egg
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup flour
1 cup or more chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together egg, brown sugar and vanilla by hand. Add dry ingredients and stir. Add walnuts. Spread batter in ungreased 8x8 pan. (Batter will be stiff and hard to spread). Garnish top with walnuts, if desired. Bake for 18-22 minutes at 350º. Do not overbake. Let cool and cut into squares.
