1 box German chocolate cake mix
1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramel squares
1/2 c. evaporated milk
3/4 c. butter, melted
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. walnuts, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare cake mix as directed on package. Pour 1/2 of the prepared batter into a greased 9x13' pan. Bake at 350º for 15 minutes. Melt caramels with milk and butter. Pour caramel mixture over cake. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and 1/2 c. walnuts. Pour remaining cake batter into pan and sprinkle with remaining walnuts. Bake again at 350º for 20-25 minutes. No need to frost cake.
