Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3 T. sugar
3 tsp. salt
1/3 c. oil
3 c. lukewarm water
3 pkg. yeast or 3 scant T.
7-7 1/2 c. flour
1 cube of butter
sugar (aprox. 1 1/2 c.)
cinnamon (cover sugar till dark)

Optional: nuts and raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 5 ingredients together and let set for 5 minutes. This gives the yeast time to activate.

Add flour a cup at a time. The dough should not be sticky.
Roll the dough out on a floured surface. When rolling, turn dough over and roll. Roll out to 1/2 in. thick and let rest for 15 minutes. Spread softened or melted butter over dough. Generously sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over the butter. Roll the dough and cut into 12 slices and place in a 9x13 in. pan.
You can also cut into 20 slices, and still use a 9x13 in. pan. It just makes for smaller rolls.
Bake 350º 25-30 minutes.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Mom got this recipe from cousin Lori Hunley. Lori used to make and sell these rolls for $1 each at a market in Springfield.

Mom frosted the rolls with a powdered sugar glaze. I personally use cream cheese frosting from the "Carrot Cake" recipe. These are so good!
