2 c. apple or pear pulp (think applesauce)
1 T. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. allspice
1 c. brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Place everything in crockpot. Set on high for 8-10 hours. Stir often, especially towards the end as it thickens. Place in hot, sterilized jars, seal, and process in boiling water bath according to altitude. Recipe can be doubled or tripled for size of crockpot. Crack the lid if mixture looks too runny to allow steam to escape, heat until thick.
